From 1 April 2017 The Rotherham 0-19 Integrated Public Health Nursing Service will improve how families and young people access health services in Rotherham.

Previously separate services such as school nursing, health visiting and oral health will now be provided by the new 0-19 service.

By using patient feedback and looking at examples of best practice, the new service will provide a much better service to families and young people across Rotherham as well as a higher level of continuity of care. This means that in the majority of cases families will now have to see just one nurse instead of multiple specialists.
