What we do

The Child Health Department maintains the Rotherham Child Health Database for all 0-19 year olds registered with a Rotherham GP or attending a Rotherham School.

We register new births and notify the relevant Health Visitors, record new birth screening results, as well as suspending services and correspondence to parents following the death of a child.

We record the details of all children who transfer into and out of the Rotherham area to support the tracking and tracing of children.

We administer the immunisation and vaccination programme.

We also administer the appointments process for the Community Paediatric Clinic across Rotherham in accordance with the agreed scheduling.

Where we are based

We are based at Rotherham Community Health Centre.
