EcoQUIP

The Rotherham Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is a member of the EcoQUIP collaborative procurement consortium aimed at improving the efficiency, quality and sustainability of healthcare through the use of innovation procurement.

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust launches two EcoQUIP projects

Every year the European Healthcare sector spends something close to 10% of GDP on healthcare goods and services. With increasing pressure on resources, demanding delivery and environmental targets, healthcare providers across Europe are looking to take a more strategic and collaborative approach to procurement of goods and services to improve the efficiency, quality and sustainability of healthcare services.

Building on its reputation as a forward thinking and innovative Foundation Trust, TRFT has launched two EcoQUIP procurement projects in areas that are fundamental to patent care – catering and beds and mattress.

The Trust is calling on suppliers to express their interest in these procurement opportunities via the project micro-sites.
