Charity volunteer opportunities

There’s more ways to support the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity than simply donating money. Why not volunteer your time instead?

Would you be able to spare a few hours on an ad-hoc basis to support the charity? You could really help us make a difference to our patients and their families.

We are currently looking for volunteers to act as ambassadors for the charity and support our fundraising activity.

Volunteering roles could include helping to arrange a fundraising event. This could involve helping set up an event, running a registration desk, handing out goodies, marshalling participants, collecting money or raising awareness about the charity.

Alternatively, you may have a great idea for an event you’d like to organise yourself. We’re here to support you every step of the way.

Our charity volunteers need to be enthusiastic, friendly and reliable. You will need be good at working as part of a team, be flexible, show your own initiative and to take directions from the charity team.

You will be expected to travel to events by foot, car or public transport.

For more information, or to register your interest, please contact the Charity Office on 01709 426821 or email trft.charity@nhs.net
