Leave a legacy

Patients and their relatives often show their appreciation for the care they have received at their local hospital by choosing to make a bequest in their Will.

Legacies can have a major impact on charities and we are really grateful to anyone who recognises the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity in this way.

Your solicitor can advise you about the most appropriate way to leave a legacy in your Will.

We would advise that you mention the following information in your will:

  • Name of Charity: The Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity
  • Registered charity number: 1054407
  • Address: Company Secretary, Management Corridor, Level D, The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, Moorgate Road, Rotherham, S60 2UD
  • State if you wish your legacy to be donated to the charity as a whole, the Purple Butterfly Appeal or Dr Ted’s Children’s Appeal

State the amount that you wish to leave as a donation e.g. a specific financial amount or a percentage of your estate. Alternatively, visit www.rememberacharity.org.uk/making-a-will/leave-a-gift-to-charity/ for more information.
