An International Sales Administrator at Gripple Ltd in Sheffield has gone the extra mile to support Rotherham Hospital Charity’s, Dr Ted’s Children’s Appeal.

23 year old Weronika Kupiec ran her first Sheffield Half Marathon in an impressive two hours, two minutes and has raised over £800 for the benefit of children cared for at Rotherham Hospital and in the local community.

Weronika has worked at Sheffield award-winning company, Gripple for three years and staff have collectively already raised over £2000 for this worthy cause.

Dr Ted’s Children’s Appeal, part of Rotherham Hospital Charity, aims to enhance the experience of children cared for by The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust by building a better environment, enhancing care with the very best in medical equipment and providing the ‘fun and learning’ accessories for children staying at hospital or just visiting.

Tracy Williams, Charity Development Officer at the Trust says: “We are extremely grateful for the on-going support from Gripple and would like to say a special thank you to Weronika for choosing the Dr Ted’s Children’s Appeal also.

“Congratulations to Weronika for completing the Sheffield Half Marathon challenge and thank you also to her friends, family and many colleagues for supporting her with their donations.”
