The Lymphoedema Service provides treatment, education and support for patients living with lymphoedema across the Rotherham area.

What is Lymphoedema? 

Lymphoedema is a swelling which develops due to a problem with the lymphatic system.  The swelling is usually in an arm or leg, although it can affect other parts of the body. 

The Lymphoedema Service team 

The aim of the service is to promote the self management of lymphoedema through treatment,  education, support, treatment reviews.

We are based at Thorpe Hesley Clinic, but we will visit patients who are at Rotherham Hospice, Rotherham Hospital, local care home and within patients homes if they are housebound.

Please contact your GP or Specialist Nurse who can refer you to the service.
