Nepal Earthquake Cake Bake

A cake sale took place on Tuesday 5 May at Rotherham Community Health Centre, part of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, in aid of the Nepal earthquake survivors. The event was championed by the Trust’s Podiatry department along with the help of Staff Governor, Sandra Lewis.

The event was also supported in person by Lydia Denton, 21, a Nepal earthquake survivor and daughter of one of the Trust’s dentists. Lydia arrived back in Britain on Friday and has been sharing her experiences of the devastation she saw.

The event was a great success, raising £200 for the Nepal earthquake appeal. Alongside the cake sale staff ran a guess the names of the hedgehog competition with hedgehog cakes made by Morag MacDougall. Thank you to everyone who got involved.
