Advice on bringing valuables to the hospital

We strongly advise patients, or their next of kin in the case of those patients incapable of managing their own affairs, not to bring valuables with them into the hospital. Whether you are coming in as a day patient, out-patient or in-patient it is advisable to leave jewellery and other valuables at home or in the care of a relative or friend.

If you bring valuable items into the hospital, this is at your own risk as the Trust does not accept responsibility for any item of personal property.
