Public Governor Elections - be part of the change you want to see

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust’s Public Governor Elections are now open.

We’re looking for people who want to do their bit for Rotherham communities, be part of something bigger and help make a real difference. Our Governors represent the public voice and diversity of the local community. They influence the continuous improvement of health services for the people of Rotherham.

We are seeking nominations for Governors in the following areas:

  • Wentworth North (2 Seats)
  • Rother Valley South (1 Seat)
  • Rother Valley West (2 Seats)
  • Rotherham North (1 Seat)
  • Wentworth Valley (1 Seat)
  • Rest of England (1 Seat)
  • Staff Governor (2 Seats)

Governors don’t need special qualifications or experience, only a desire to get involved and do something for their local community.

The first step to becoming a Governor, or even to be involved in electing a Governor, is to become a Member of the Trust.

Being a Trust Member means having a say in helping to plan future NHS services, and to have an impact on how healthcare in Rotherham is provided. Members can get involved as much or as little as they want.

Nominations close at 5pm on Thursday 3 November.
