Notice of Election For the Council of Governors

13 Feb 2012 08:59:47

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust gives notice that it will hold elections to the Council of Governors of the Trust.

Background

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is a progressive and innovative Trust, with a reputation for clinical excellence and efficiency. We continue to develop at a pace but like all NHS Trusts, we are facing some challenging times ahead. The Council of Governors work alongside the Board of Directors in setting the strategic direction of the Trust and collectively hold a number of statutory powers.

At The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust we believe that healthcare is not a job, it’s a passion. If you believe that too, then do consider becoming a Governor and help support us in realising our ambitions. Elections are to be held for Governor positions in the following public constituencies:

  • Public: Rotherham North 1 vacancy
  • Public: Rother Valley West 1 vacancy
  • Public: Rother Valley South 1 vacancy
  • Public: Rest of England 1 vacancy

More details about the constituencies can be found here.
