Take the Leap on No Smoking Day

09 Mar 2012 16:52:29

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust is hosting an event in Rotherham Hospital’s Community Corner (main entrance on C level) for No Smoking Day, which takes place next Wednesday 14th March.

At the event staff, patients, visitors and members of the public will be able to speak to Stop Smoking Specialists to get advice on how to quit. Cardiac rehabilitation & specialist respiratory nurses will also be giving advice, support & free healthchecks, including lung function tests. The Mayor of Rotherham will also be attending the event at 12.30 noon.

The theme for this year’s No Smoking Day is ‘take the leap’ so why not join us on the day and quit for good? Other health professionals will also be on hand to give advice on smoking related health issues.

No Smoking Day is a national event supported by the British Heart Foundation, for more details visit: www.nosmokingday.org.uk.

Thank you for keeping our Trust smoke free.
