Changes to car parking rates for patients and visitors at Rotherham Hospital – May 2012

30 Apr 2012 15:13:31

Car parking rates for patients and visitors at Rotherham Hospital are changing as of 1st May 2012.

The new car parking charges are:

First 30 minutes : Free
30 minutes -1 hour : £1
1 - 2 hours : £2
2 - 3 hours : £3
3 - 4 hours : £4
4 - 5 hours : £5
5 - 6 hours : £6
6+ hours : £7.50
Disabled badge holders : Free
Motor cycles and bicycles : Free

The Trust has introduced this new tariff, whilst at the same time still providing  a level of free parking,  in order to ensure that income levels meet the expenditure of providing car parking facilities. Unfortunately we have to charge for car parking for periods longer than thirty minutes at the hospital to cover maintenance and security of the car parks.
