14 Nov 2012 10:37:46

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust recently hosted an event in order to raise awareness of baby loss and the support that is available.

As part of Baby Loss Awareness Week, the Trust’s Bereavement Midwives displayed literature within the Community Corner area at Rotherham Hospital. They were also on hand to talk to people about baby loss and throughout the day fundraising activities were carried out by the Midwives and GROW.

Rotherham’s Mayor and Mayoress paid a visit to lend their support, the Mayor said: “This is a fantastic event to raise awareness of baby loss, particularly in Rotherham and we are happy to help to support those who help mums to deal with their loss”
