NHS Heroes

10 Dec 2012 15:25:24

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT) recently presented NHS Heroes certificates signed by Sir David Nicolson, the Chief Executive of the NHS, to a selection of its well deserving staff.

Part of a national campaign, NHS Heroes recognises the great work that individuals do every day in the NHS and celebrate the Health Service staff who go the extra mile to improve life for patients.

The campaign encouraged patients and their families to nominate the staff members and teams whose compassion and kindness has made a difference to their lives. Juliette Greenwood, Chief Nurse at TRFT said: "Witnessing members of our staff being presented with an NHS Heroes certificate makes me feel immensely proud of the dedication and passion that they show each day."
