A group of staff from The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT) have been honoured at a ceremony to thank them for dedicated service. The event to celebrate all those who have been with the Trust for 25 years or more took place recently at the hospital.
78 members of staff were honoured at the event, who between them have accumulated more than 1950 years working at the Trust.
The Trust marks this event every year by holding an event in the Lecture Theatre at the hospital to thank all the new staff who have worked with the Trust for 25 years for their dedication and commitment.
The ceremony was hosted by Chairman of the Trust Peter Lee, who thanked staff both at the hospital and in the community for their hard work and dedication. This year’s ceremony was the first to be hosted by the Chairman Peter Lee.
Speaking at the ceremony Peter said: “Since 1987 healthcare has seen some significant changes but it’s nice to see that all our loyal serving members of staff are very proud of what they have achieved and I am proud to be able to be part of that.
“It is certainly a great honour to be among so much experience. 1950 years of experience to be exact.”
