Junior Doctors’ Industrial Action – 10 February 2016

09 Feb 2016 16:57:26

On Wednesday 10 February Junior Doctors nationally are carrying out 24 hours of industrial action. The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust will be delivering the maximum service possible to patients during this time.

The Trust has undertaken robust planning to ensure that disruption for patients is kept to a minimum and that the services provided are safe.

Anyone whose clinic has been cancelled or operation postponed has already been contacted by the Trust. If you have not heard from us, then please attend your appointment as normal.

Patients will be contacted directly should it become necessary for the Trust to cancel any further appointments or procedures.

Patients and members of the public can support the NHS in Rotherham by using service appropriately. If you feel unwell seek advice from your pharmacist, NHS 111, visit the NHS Choices website or call your GP for more information about what you should do. 999 and A&E should be reserved for urgent, life-threatening situations only.
