Patient raises £900 for Ward A7

Thank you to Val Curtis (centre),Val’s friend Linda Steele (left) and Linda’s daughter Rebecca Ball (second on the left) who presented £900 to colleagues on Ward A7 and the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity. Val hosted a coffee morning at her home and donated the funds raised to Ward A7 in appreciation for the care she received from the team last year.

Local church raise £1000 for the Stroke Unit

Thank you to St James Church at Braithwell, who have raised a fantastic £1000 for the Rotherham Hospital Stroke Unit, their ‘chosen charity’ for the year. Charity Fundraiser, Tracy Williams and Stroke Unit Manager, Mariano Ponte attended a special church service where they were presented with the funds that the church have raised throughout the year through community fundraising.

And thank you to Pauline Hirst who has donated this fantastic picture of the Purple Butterfly Appeal Logo, made completely with buttons! Pauline donated this in memory of her husband who was cared for at the Trust and sadly passed away.
