What is the NHS Big Tea Party all about?
On 5 July 2018, the NHS turned 70 and to celebrate, a number of tea parties were held across the country raising money for NHS charities. The tea parties were such a great success we hope to make them an annual event at Rotherham Hospital and in the community.
The NHS Big Tea is a chance for people up and down the country, including in Rotherham, to come together over a cup of tea, celebrate their NHS whilst raising money for one of more than 250 NHS charities.
NHS charities, such as the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity, raise money to help fund the added extras which really make a difference to thousands of patients, their families and carers of all ages; improving patient care and experience.
Thank you to everyone who attended or hosted our NHS Big Tea parties at Rotherham Hospital and in the community in July 2019. You helped us to raise nearly £500 for the Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity. You can find out more information on our News pages here.
