The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust has a specialist service which supports people with relationship and sexual difficulties and for this years’ Sexual Advice Association’s ‘Think about sex day’, we are taking the opportunity to remind our local residents of the expert support which we can provide.
The team in the Trust’s Psychosexual Service runs a clinic which provides assessment and treatment options for patients experiencing sexual dysfunction, due to physical, psychological, emotional and situational factors.
The team also provides therapeutic support to individuals and couples who may be having relationship or sexual difficulties. Alison Evans, Psychotherapist for Sexual Dysfunction, said: “Think about Sex Day is a great opportunity to raise the awareness of sexual issues and relationship difficulties, whilst providing the public with information on the confidential services available at the Trust to support this.”
If you are experiencing sexual dysfunction, relationship or sexual difficulties, speak to your GP about accessing our confidential service. For further information on the service, please contact Alison Evans on 01709 427636 or click the following link to view our patient information leaflet.
