Our Consultant Haematologists are;

We are waiting to recruit a fourth haematologist. Drs Taylor, Barker and Went are joined by a Specialist Registrar and a senior house officer.

Our nurses specialise in haematology and are headed by Matrons Smith and Thompson along with Ward manager/Charge Nurse Lyons.

The team are also assisted by Dietician Carrie Smeeton, Haematology Pharmacist Susan Gibbons, Blood Bank Clinical Transfusion Specialist Gary Steel and Nurse Consultant in IV Therapy and Care, Andrew Jackson.

The outpatient team is lead by Staff Nurse Sharon Wilkinson.
