Annual Members' Meeting 2021

The Trust is holding its Annual Members’ Meeting (AMM) on 28 September at 5.30pm.

The meeting will be held virtually again this year to keep our patients and staff safe from the spread of Covid-19 and making it more accessible for members of the public. An agenda for the evening can be found at the bottom of this page.

The session will feature a summary of the Trust’s progress, in what has been the most challenging year of the NHS as a whole, and a look at the priorities for the year ahead. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to join us by logging in.

You’re also encouraged to send a question to be answered by our Board of Directors on the night by emailing before 17 September.

The Trust, which includes community health services across the Rotherham borough as well as Rotherham Hospital, has faced unprecedented pressures over the past 18 months due to the Covid pandemic and during the AMM you will hear how our colleagues have implemented a number of initiatives and improvements to the way we deliver local services.

Martin Havenhand, Chairman of The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, said: “Our Annual Members’ Meeting is an opportunity for our board to publicly thank our amazing colleagues who have continued to provide services throughout the pandemic. It also provides the opportunity for us all to reflect on an unprecedented period for the NHS and to share the continuing challenges facing the Trust.

“You will hear stories from some of our colleagues about their personal experiences and about how services have changed due to the experiences of dealing with Covid. You will also hear about how we are focusing on recovery and the challenges of establishing the new normal.”

The joining details for the session will be issued via the Trust’s social media channels and on our website in advance of 28 September.

If you have a question you would like to put to the Trust’s Board of Directors, you can ask a question on the evening.
