Concessions are also available for Macmillan patients, frequent outpatient appointments, parents staying overnight with their children on a ward and family members or carers who have a relative/dependent in the Hospital for a period longer than 7 days.

Those on low income can use the NHS Low Income Scheme – further details are available at: https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-services/help-with-health-costs

Tony Bennett, Security and Car Parking Manager at The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, said: “All the car parking charges at Rotherham come directly back into the trust  and enable us to maintain  the car parking available at the hospital without drawing funding away from front line services. We are hoping to make improvements to our car parks over the coming months  and will be seeking the views of patients, staff and visitors to help shape our five year travel plan.

“Car parking on the hospital site is limited, so we encourage all visitors to consider using alternative travel arrangements where it is safe to do so.”
