The upper limb trauma course (ORP and Surgeons)
The upper limb trauma course is now in it’s 5th year and was significantly expanded in 2014 in line with feedback from previous courses to cover even more breadth and depth. Aimed at Consultant revalidation and senior trainees, the faculty are all clinicians experienced in trauma care who teach nationally and internationally in their subjects. The surgical faculty has been expanded to include paediatric and plastic surgeons as well as colleagues from anaesthetics and therapy to give a holistic overview of the subject. Running over one and a half days, the course mixes lectures with practicals and seminars. Increased CPD accreditation has been applied for from the BOA to reflect the expanded course.
