Opening times

The orthotic department is open from 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

Appointments can be offered to patients between 8:40am and 4.20pm although exact availability is varied depending on appointment type and clinician required.

Thursday afternoons are designated primarily to Paediatrics.

The department is closed at weekends and bank holidays.

Collect and drop-off times

Footwear or other orthoses requiring repair should be presented in a clean condition to the Orthotics Reception desk during the following times:

10am - 12pm or 2pm - 4pm (Monday-Thursday)

Collections can also be made during these times

Specialist clinics

External Paediatric Clinics are held at Newman, Hilltop and Kelford Schools. These clinics are for children attending the schools and appointments are usually arranged via the school or the Physiotherapy department

An Orthotist is also present for the MDT Foot Ulcer Clinics on Tuesday afternoons.
