Emergency Centre Steels Ahead

A milestone has been marked in the development of Rotherham’s new Emergency Centre. Hospital doctors and local GPs, accompanied by key partners of the project, gathered on the building site of the extension to Rotherham Hospital to give the newly erected steel frame the seal of approval. The steel work now clearly marks out the shape and size of the centre which is due to open in 2017.

In 2015 there will be 850,000 people with dementia in the UK, with numbers set to rise to 1 million by 2025.  The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust, is helping to raise awareness and understanding of dementia and the services available locally to better enable people to live well with the condition.
