The NHS has had a year like no other and everyone has had their own reason to champion their NHS heroes. You proudly displayed rainbows and ‘good luck’ messages in your windows and clapped on your doorsteps every Thursday. You also donated everything from refreshments, toiletries to PPE. The incredible Sir Captain Tom Moore continues to inspire you to fundraise.
But we’re not stopping there! We are inviting you to take part in a national outpouring of love, thanks and generosity for the NHS by raising a cuppa on Monday 5 July 2021 (or whenever works best for you).
The NHS Big Tea is back to mark the NHS’ birthday and we need you help to make it the biggest and best yet.
How to get involved
You can share a pot with your work colleagues, pop the kettle on at home or enjoy a flask with your friends in the park – anything goes. You can celebrate virtually, with your family or friends or get your whole community involved by hosting a street party too.
You can join in on 5 July or any date which suits you.
Alternatively, we hope you can take five minutes out of your day to enjoy a tea break (we recommend cake or biscuits too!) Please donate £5 via Virgin Money Giving here: https://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/giving/nhsbigtea/
Don’t forget to nominate five friends, family members or colleagues to do the same.
Invite us to your tea party
Don’t forget to let us know about your NHS Big Tea party plans – we would love to know how you plan to celebrate.
Get in touch with the charity on 01709 426821 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
