Additional information
Your consultant may recommend that you need to have an operation. If this is the case you will be asked to attend the ‘Pre Admission Centre’ when you leave the outpatient department for a ‘pre operative assessment’.
If possible we will offer you an appointment on the same day, so please be prepared to stay in the hospital a while longer.
The car park can get busy. Patients should allow additional time for this to ensure they arrive in good time for their appointment.
