You have been asked to attend for a fasting blood test.
This is a blood test where you do not eat or drink anything other than water before you have the test, from midnight.
How do I book my fasting blood test?
To book your fasting blood test, please telephone Breathing Space on 01709 424397 to make an appointment.
Your blood should be taken in the morning where possible, so that you do not have to fast (not eat or drink anything other than water) for too long.
What should I do on the day of my fasting blood test?
- You should not eat or drink anything other than water from midnight on the day of your fasting blood test.
- We advise for you not to smoke until you have had the blood test as this can affect the results.
- Attend Breathing Space, Badsley Moor Lane, East Dene, Rotherham, S65 2QL
- When you arrive for your appointment at Breathing Space, please inform the reception staff.
- When your blood test has been completed, you can eat and drink normally.
