The Radiology department offer x-rays, CT, MRI and ultrasound scans.
Our services are by appointment only and include:
- x-ray
- breast imaging and screening (mammogram)
- ultrasound
- Computer Tomography (CT) scan
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scan
- bone density (DEXA) scan
Making an appointment

Lines are open Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:30pm (excluding bank holidays)
If you have been referred for an X-ray appointment by your GP, you can contact the X-ray booking team on 01709 424357.
Patients referred for an X-ray by their GP are also able to book their own X-ray appointment online.

Using the online X-ray appointment booking system
Step 1
After being referred for an X-ray examination by a health professional at your GP practice, you will receive a text message to your mobile phone with a link to the self-booking portal. You may also receive the link by email.
Step 2
Enter your information into the online form. The system will then securely locate your referral.
Step 3
When your referral has been located, you will be able to select a date and time for your X-ray appointment that is convenient for you.
Alternatively, you can request a call back from our X-ray booking team to a telephone number of your choice.
Step 4
When your appointment has been successfully booked, you will see a confirmation message on the screen.
