Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy services, Manual Handling and

Physiotherapy
Physiotherapists are trained to evaluate
and improve movement and function of the body with particular attention
to physical mobility, balance, posture, fatigue and pain.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapists (OTs) work with
people who have physical, mental and/or social problems, either from
birth or as a result of accident, illness or ageing. We want to help
our patients achieve as much as they can for themselves.
Ergonomics/Manual Handling
Ergonomics is the specialty assessing the
work-place to ensure it meets the needs of the individual. Training on
moving and handling and Display Screen Equipment assessment is provided
throughout the Trust for all staff.
Chaplaincy
The Chaplaincy team is responsible for
the spiritual and religious care of patients, visitors and staff.
