Health Information Service

Open Monday – Friday 9 am to 5pm, the health information service provides patients, carers and the public with leaflets, books, internet searches and help on finding quality websites.

If you have a question about your health our friendly staff can help you find the information you need. We will also signpost you to other information services if we cannot provide support or information ourselves.

Information Prescriptions

The Rotherham NHS Foundation Trust (TRFT) is one of 30 NHS Trusts within England to be selected to implement Information Prescriptions (IPs) for its cancer patients. Information Prescriptions offer bespoke, timely and relevant information to patients to enable them to make decisions about their health and the support they receive.

Information Prescriptions can also be offered to patients with other conditions such as diabetes and dietary conditions and it is expected that Information Prescriptions will be available to a large proportion of Trust patients by the end of 2012.
